A survey solution we built with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and TSO – the Safety Climate Tool – won big at the Safety & Health Excellence Awards last month.
The tool scooped the prize in the ‘Best Use of Health and Safety Data to Lower Incident Rates’ category.
The Safety Climate Tool is a pre-built online survey that lets organisations assess the health and safety culture among their employees. As well as pre-defined questions, the survey offers instant one-click analysis to let the organisation see concise reports that summarise their data and include suggestions for improvement.
In 2021/2022 there were 36.8 million working days lost due to work-related ill health and non-fatal workplace injury in 2021/22, and we believe the survey tool can provide vital insights for organisations to reduce this number.
With data collected from around 130,000 workers in a variety of industries, organisations can score their own marks against others in their industry.
Dr Steve Jenkins, CEO of Snap Surveys, said:
“We are delighted to have won this award alongside the HSE and TSO for the Safety Climate Tool.
“Many hours of hard work went into creating the tool and we are very happy that it has been recognised. With a strong commitment to data security and powerful reporting that reveals key stories in the feedback, the Safety Climate Tool is proving to be a highly useful tool for organisations all over the UK.
“A big thanks to the Safety & Health Excellence Awards for putting on a great event. We really enjoyed the night and congratulations to the other winners.
“And finally, thanks to the Health and Safety Executive and the TSO for being great partners. We look forward to creating more successful survey solutions with you in the future.”
The Safety Climate Tool is available to help organisations both large and small.
