On Sunday December 1, 2024, planned maintenance work will affect the Snap XMP Online subscription service for our UK Datacentre at https://online1.snapsurveys.com . For affected clients, this is the address shown at the top of your browser when logged into Snap XMP Online.
Snap XMP Online accounts hosted at https://online2.snapsurveys.com are not affected by this planned work.
The maintenance is scheduled to last up to six hours, starting at 06:00 GMT on Sunday, December 1, 2024. We are providing notice so you can create an action plan and schedule your survey work accordingly. During the maintenance, some attempts to access the website may receive a timeout error.
As a result of this work, the IP address of the Snap XMP Online server (online1.snapsurveys.com and custom URLs) will change from 78.137.127.168 to 176.124.54.104. Once the maintenance is complete, affected clients may need to update any whitelists to reflect this.

On Sunday February 19, 2023, planned maintenance work will affect the WebHost subscription service hosted at https://wh1.snapsurveys.com. For affected clients, this is the address shown at the top of your browser when logged into WebHost.
WebHost accounts hosted elsewhere (such as https://wh.snapsurveys.com) and Snap XMP are not affected by this planned work.
The maintenance is scheduled to last up to eight hours, starting at 06:00 GMT (01:00 EST) Sunday, February 19, 2023. We are providing notice so you can create a plan of action and schedule your survey work accordingly. During the maintenance some attempts to access the website will receive a timeout error.
As a result of this work, the IP address of the WebHost server (wh1.snapsurveys.com) will change from 89.234.32.228 to 31.193.10.4 and affected clients may need to update any whitelists to reflect this once the maintenance has completed successfully.

We will be upgrading the system infrastructure that supports www.snapsurveys.com. This will require downtime affecting all of the web services associated with www.snapsurveys.com, including the Snap WebHost subscription service. We will be prioritising the interviewing system to minimize the impact on surveys that are collecting results. Please note that some other systems may be unavailable during this period, such as the support hub and software updates.
The maintenance is scheduled to last one hour, starting at 04:00 BST Sunday, September 9, 2018 (23:00 ET Saturday September 8, 2018). We are providing notice so you can create a plan of action and schedule your survey work accordingly. During the maintenance some attempts to access the website will receive a timeout error.

On Saturday, October 21st, we have scheduled a short planned outage for general maintenance. We anticipate the planned outage to last approximately 5 minutes. The timing of this outage will be between the following:
5:00 am – 6:00 am BST
12:00 am – 1:00 am EDT
11:00 pm – 12:00 am CDT (Friday, October 20th)
10:00 pm – 11:00 pm MDT (Friday, October 20th)
9:00 pm – 10:00 pm PDT (Friday, October 20th)
We will do our best to perform maintenance as quickly as possible.

June 23-24 – The Snap Surveys website will be undergoing system maintenance on Saturday June 24, between 01:00-03:00 BST (20:00-22:00 EST, June 23). This 2 hour scheduled maintenance window will include a service interruption lasting up to 30 minutes. We apologise for any inconvenience this work may cause, however, these changes are necessary to help Snap Surveys to continue to deliver optimal performance and reliability for our services.

June 4 – A vulnerability has been identified that may affect the security of communications with our web services for users with older browsers. As of Sunday June 4 our website will no longer accept connections from browsers requiring the DES or 3DES ciphers. The main impact of these changes will be on Windows XP users using Internet Explorer. Traffic from this setup represents less than a quarter of a percent of all communications with our web services so it’s very unlikely you will experience any negative effects. Our advice is that anyone continuing to use Windows XP beyond its supported lifetime uses an alternative browser that supports more modern ciphers.

The maintenance is scheduled for 21st February 2016. The maintenance window is 06:00 – 18:00 GMT (01:00 – 13:00 EST). We are providing advance notice so you can create a plan of action and schedule your survey work accordingly. During the maintenance some attempts to access the website will receive a timeout error.

As of the 16th November we will be disabling the use of SSL3 on our web services due to the “Poodle” vulnerability report by Google (CVE-2014-3566). This will cause old browsers, such as Internet Explorer 6, not to be able to access our site securely. Full support and accessibility will remain for Internet Explorer 7 and later.
