Horizontal and vertical page transitions

Horizontal or vertical page transitions move the questions on the page horizontally or vertically, when showing the next or previous page. This happens after the respondent clicks the next or back button, or when the page automatically moves to the next page.

Please watch our video to show some examples of interviews using horizontal and vertical page transitions.

Setting up horizontal page transitions

Enter the text {{hSlide}} in the questionnaire to turn on the horizontal page transition.

You can add it anywhere in the questionnaire, but we recommend adding it to the title, so you can easily see that the horizontal slide transition is on. The respondent will not see the text {{hSlide}} during the interview.

Both Snap XMP Desktop and Snap XMP Online use the same set up.

Setting up vertical page transitions

Enter the text {{vSlide}} in the questionnaire to turn on the vertical page transition.

You can add it anywhere in the questionnaire, but we recommend adding it to the title, so you can easily see that the vertical slide transition is on. The respondent will not see the text {{vSlide}} during the interview.

Both Snap XMP Desktop and Snap XMP Online use the same set up.
